Socket Communications Inc. Unveils Industry First Cordless Ring Scanner with Exclusive Liquidmetal(R) Case
LAKE FOREST, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2006--Socket
Communications, Inc., an innovative provider of mobile productivity
products, Monday unveiled the Cordless Ring Scanner (CRS) 9P. A first
of its kind product, the CRS uses an exclusive Liquidmetal(R)
Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:LQMT) housing for extreme durability and
scratch resistance. The CRS combines the power of laser bar code
scanning with the convenience of Bluetooth wireless technology to
provide an efficient, hands-free solution that makes scanning as
simple as pointing a finger. The lightweight device which fits
comfortably on an index finger for hands free scanning was unveiled at
the National Retail Federation Trade Show in New York City.
